Ideas for favors at bridal showers?
I’m MOH in my friend’s wedding and planning both a bridal shower & more of a couples BBQ type thing –both in June.
I’ve been trying to think of a good favor to give out at the bridal shower. The bride is young (20) and everything will be flowery and pink. Would something from Bath & Body works be appropriate? Maybe a small Yankee Candle? Some fragrance/lotion from the Victoria’s Secret Pink collection?
Also, for the Jack & Jill shower… it’ll be really casual/outdoors. Would it be tacky to skip favors for that event? If so, any ideas for it?
For what its worth, I’ve hosted multiple showers and and been to many more and we never did favors. Maybe its a regional thing? The only thing that I always seen done is that the bride is supposed to give the hostesses a small thank you gift for hosting the shower. I personally wouldn’t bother with it, but if you really want to I think small Bath & body works lotions or something would be really nice.

After inquiring then you can already order for your bridal shower. If you are going to have a big bridal shower then it is advisable for you to order in advance so that you would have the favors on time. The last thing that you want to happen is to order for a favor and not be able to give it on time of the event.
Keep in mind that wedding bridal showers are supposed to be fun. It is the time where your friends and family would spend a great time with you as a single woman. In a few days, you would get married and start your life with your husband. This might be the last time that you will have this much great time without your married life being taken into consideration. Bridal shower is something to remember even if you are already married.
